Inspired by Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai’s call for good governance, Chhattisgarh State Electricity Distribution Company Limited is expanding consumer services by starting the facility of ‘Bijli Mitan Bot’ for about 64 lakh of its consumers. Managing Director of the distribution company, Bhim Singh Kanwar has appealed to all the consumers to take maximum advantage of this facility. Shri Kanwar has appealed to the electricity employees to provide proper information to the consumers regarding this new facility and motivate them to take advantage of it.

To use the WhatsApp bot, you will have to send Hi to the electricity company’s WhatsApp bot number 9425551912, while to use the web bot, you will have to visit the distribution company’s website cspdcl.co.in. In the first phase, consumers can easily lodge complaints related to power supply, transformer failure and electrical accidents through Bijli Mitan bot, and can also know its status through this bot. If the consumer wants to know the information about his outstanding amount, previous bill and previous payment then he can also know through ‘Bijli Mitan Bot’. Some consumers complain about not receiving the bill, they can also now easily download the PDF copy of the bill from here through this bot. In the near future this Bijli Mitan bot will be able to provide electricity bill payment, mobile number registration, application for new electricity connection, load change, name change, tariff information, facility to report electricity theft, smart meter related information along with many more.
