Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the plan for the overall development of Chitrakoot should be made in an integrated manner and implemented with everyone’s cooperation. He said that social service and other development works are being done by many social organizations in Chitrakoot. Also connect with the work of these institutions for the facilities of pilgrims and tourists during fairs and occasions held in religious places. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing a review meeting of the progressing and proposed works for the overall development of Chitrakoot in Chitrakoot on Tuesday.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the overall development of Chitrakoot is our priority. There should be better development here and the original form of Chitrakoot should be maintained along with spiritual splendor. The Chief Minister said that along with the cleanliness and purity of Mother Mandakini, the campaign of water recharge should also be run with voluntary organizations and public participation. The Chief Minister said that our ashrams and institutions should jointly run a campaign for groundwater recharge and conservation. How to further strengthen the various projects going on in Chitrakoot so that our society and region can become self-reliant.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Chitrakoot University and social service organizations are working towards creating a self-reliant society. While maintaining our ancient culture and traditional identity of Chitrakoot, development work should be done by combining many subjects. Work should be done with everyone’s cooperation in the fields of cow shelters, cow rearing, health and education. Possibilities of rope-way option can also be explored for crowd management in Chitrakoot’s Amavasya Fair and Diwali Fair. Create a control room for the parking places of vehicles in the fair. He said that the work of widening and strengthening of roads should be completed with quality and within the time limit. The Chief Minister directed to start the work on the road from Mohkamgarh to Pili Kothi from both ends.
Minister of State for Urban Development and Housing, Smt. Pratima Bagri said that there is a need for development of facilities on the Kamadgiri Parikrama Marg. There should also be proper arrangements for cleanliness in Parikrama. It is also necessary to decide on a well-planned place for the donors.
Social worker Suresh Soni said that the importance of Chitrakoot holy pilgrimage is related to Kamadgiri and Maa Mandakini. With the increase in popularity due to the development of pilgrimage sites including Ayodhya, the traffic of pilgrims has increased manifold. The development plan of Chitrakoot should be made according to the circumstances of the next 15-20 years. He said that every monastery, temple, school, social institutions of Chitrakoot should also do the work of public enlightenment.
MP Ganesh Singh said that there are possibilities of development in Chitrakoot, the holy place of Lord Shri Ram, and the natural beauty of the temples and pilgrimage sites should be preserved. Besides, important places of circumambulation of Chaurasi Kosh should also be included in the overall development of Chitrakoot and public facilities should be developed. MLA Surendra Singh Gaharwar along with DRI’s Organization Secretary Abhay Mahajan, Vice Chancellor Chitrakoot Gramodaya University Prof. Bharat Mishra, Mayor Yogesh Tamrakar, former Principal of Sanskrit School Shridhar Tripathi, Acharya Dr. Ramnarayan Tripathi of Gayatri Shakti Peeth, Mahant Sitasharan Ji Maharaj of Janaki Mahal, Ramakant Tripathi, Dr. B.K. of Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust. Chief Minister planted saplings in Chitrakoot Ramvan Gaman Anubhuti Vatika
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav planted peepal, banyan and neem saplings in Ram Van Gaman Anubhuti Vatika in Shri Ram Van Sanskriti Van developed by the Forest Department in Chitrakoot.
Chief Minister had darshan of Van Devi
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited Van Devi Temple in Chitrakoot on Tuesday and offered darshan and worship. He inspected the construction and development work being done by the Forest Department at Van Devi Temple. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this ancient and mythological place associated with Ram Path Gaman is believed to be the Shakti Peeth of the forest goddess Shakti Swarupa Maa Parvati. The development of Van Devi Temple has also been included in the development plan of Ram Van Gaman Path.
