Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that we will leave no stone unturned for the prosperity of the state and progress of the people of the state. The efforts being made to promote investment in the state have yielded promising results. Whether the investment is small or big, both are the same for us. Our aim is to provide employment to the youth along with industrial development and also to connect them with self-employment. Regional Industry Conclave has played an important role in achieving this goal. The next Regional Industry Conclave is being held in Shahdol on 16th January, for which large scale investment proposals are being received.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was having a virtual conversation with the industrialists of Shahdol, Umaria and Anuppur from Rewa late on Monday night. He said that so far investment proposals worth Rs 20 thousand crore have been received in Shahdol Industry Conclave. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while interacting with local industrialists, gave information about the industrial policy and provisions of the state and the facilities provided to investors. He said that we will not let the investors who are coming to Madhya Pradesh to set up industries face any kind of difficulty. Policies have been made to encourage ‘Ease of Doing Business’ in the state. In this, Madhya Pradesh is at fourth place in the country. For the convenience of investors, ‘Investment Facilitation Centres’ have been started in every district. Collectors have been made their nodal officers.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that instructions have been given to collectors in all three districts of Shahdol division to prepare young entrepreneurs for start-ups. The state government will provide them all possible assistance for self-employment. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the year 2025 is being celebrated as the Year of Industry in the state. Global Investor Summit is also going to be held in Bhopal in the month of February this year. It will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. This is a matter of pride for Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that “Swami Vivekananda Yuva Shakti Mission” has been started in the state. With this mission, we will provide creative direction to the energy of the youth and make them self-reliant. With this, they will be able to become employment providers and ensure their participation in developed Madhya Pradesh for developed India.
Investments received in RIC so far
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav decided to organize a Regional Industry Conclave by taking innovative initiatives for industrial development and employment generation equally in different areas of the state. The first RIC of the state was held in Ujjain on March 1-2, in which investment proposals worth Rs one lakh crore were received. The second RIC was held in Jabalpur on July 20, in which investment proposals worth Rs 22 thousand crores were received. In this sequence, the third RIC was held in Gwalior on 28th August, in which investment proposals worth Rs 8 thousand crore were received. The fourth RIC was held in Sagar on September 27, in which investment proposals worth Rs 23 thousand 181 crore were received. The fifth RIC was held in Rewa on 23 October, in which investment proposals worth Rs 30 thousand 814 crore were received. The 6th RIC of the state was held in Narmadapuram on 7 December 2024, in which investment proposals worth Rs 31 thousand 800 crore were received.
