Cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of CM Mohan Yadav on Wednesday in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. In the meeting, many proposals were made including making Madhya Pradesh poverty-free by 2028, new posts approved in police band and Fishermen Promotion Scheme, modernization of Dial-100 service. Approval was given. However, there was no discussion on Chitrakoot Development Plan and new excise policy in the meeting.
It has been decided that this work will be done through tender at the district level, covering government buildings with a capacity of 20 kilowatts or more. This work will be done on PPP model and the person given this work will maintain the solar rooftop plant for 25 years. For this, a decision has also been taken to form a state level coordination committee.
After the meeting, Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya told in a press conference that Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will be on a visit to Japan from January 27 to February 1. CM Yadav will travel abroad for investment and employment. Global investment will be held on 24-25 February, in which Japan will be our partner along with England and Germany. Special focus will be on housing, education, health and employment for the poor of the state. Special programs will be run for poverty alleviation.

While discussing the poor welfare mission in detail, the action plan to provide help to every poor family in 2025 was approved. Resolve to make Madhya Pradesh a poverty-free state by 2028.
Rs 100 crore approved for Chief Minister Fishermen Promotion Scheme. With this amount, those ponds where fishing industry runs will be made watery. Schemes will also be made for the welfare of fishermen.
The second phase of Dryal Hundred will begin. Dial Indred will start with the integrated system. 1565 crores approved for this scheme.
New posts of police band approved in every district. About 932 new posts approved.
All government buildings will run on solar electricity. The tender will be issued on PPP mode. Decision to give tender to private companies.
A proposal to give tax exemption in the Gwalior-Ujjain Automobile Fair was passed.

It was decided to continue the Chief Minister Carp Fisheries Samriddhi Yojana till 2026. Rs 100 crore was sanctioned in this. The implementation of Garib Kalyan Mission was also discussed in the meeting.
It was decided that to improve the economic condition of the poor, the mission will be conducted with the help of Panchayat and Rural Development, Urban Development and Housing Department.
DPR worth Rs 1565 crore has been approved for the selection of new system integrated for operation of the second phase of Dial 100 service from April 2025 to September 2030.
The project has been approved for 5 years and 6 months with 1200 vehicles. Along with this, approval was given to create 932 new posts for the establishment of police bands in each district.
Cabinet meeting in Maheshwar on 24 January
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will be on a visit to Japan from 27 January to 1 February. Along with England and Germany, Japan will also be a partner in the Global Investor Summit to be held on 24-25 February. Before this, there will be a cabinet meeting on January 24.
