The minimum temperature in Chhattisgarh is likely to increase by two to three degrees in the next four days. However, cold continues to wreak havoc in the state. It is extremely cold in the districts of Surguja division. The rural and outer areas of the state also continue to be cold with fog in the morning. The weather is likely to remain dry today Wednesday.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of any significant change in the minimum temperature in the next 12 hours, after which the minimum temperature is likely to increase by two to three degrees in the next four days. There is a possibility of fog in the districts of northern parts. Today, dense fog remained in some parts of the area till morning.

Due to increase in minimum temperature in the coming days, the cold will reduce further. Pendra was the coldest in the state on Tuesday. The minimum temperature recorded here was 6.6 degrees Celsius. Along with this, a minimum temperature of 7.2 degrees has been recorded in Ambikapur. Today on Wednesday the weather in Raipur is likely to be slightly cloudy. The minimum temperature here is likely to be around 16 degrees.
