After the murder of Bijapur-based independent journalist Mukesh Chandrakar, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh has said that a compensation of Rs 10 lakh will be given to his family. CM has also talked about construction of Patrakar Bhawan.

Bijapur journalist Mukesh Chandrakar’s contractor Suresh Chandrakar along with other people had brutally murdered him and thrown his body in a septic tank. After the matter came to light, the police arrested all the accused, produced them in the court and sent them on remand. Regarding this matter, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has said that apart from giving Rs 10 lakh to the family of Mukesh Chandrakar, he will also construct a journalist building.
