Various inspirational programs were organized under “Youth Day” on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi University. The program started with Surya Namaskar and Pranayama session by the Yoga department. The Painting Department presented a special painting exhibition based on the life of Swami Vivekananda. A speech competition was organized for the students on the topic “Eternal Inspiration for Youth”, in which the participants participated enthusiastically.
A video display of Swami Vivekananda’s historic Chicago lecture was also shown, which deeply impressed the people present. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Khemsingh Daheria said that the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda are relevant for all sections of the society. His messages also highlighted the necessity of the present times. Registrar Shri Shailendra Kumar Jain stressed the need to assimilate the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda.
