Nachiketa Rai Soni, son of deceased bullion trader Gopal Rai Soni, informed the police on January 5 that unknown miscreants killed his father, Gopal Rai Soni, and ran away from the house with his car, briefcase and his mother’s mobile phone. After receiving information about this incident, SP Siddharth Tiwari and FSL team inspected the spot and sent a fingerprint expert to the spot.

The applicant told that when he reached home around 10 pm, he saw that the white colored Hyundai Creta car parked in the porch of the house was missing. The door of the house was closed, after opening which he found that his father was seriously injured and lying bleeding. After this he was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. After the incident, the police filed a report without number and started investigating the matter.

Superintendent of Police Mr. Siddharth Tiwari formed 14 different teams in view of the seriousness of this sensational murder. These teams examined the surrounding CCTV footage, in which two masked persons were seen near the incident site. Police received information from an informer that Mohan Minj, a resident of Kumnaththa, had an injury on his hand, which was similar to that of the suspects seen in the CCTV.

During interrogation, Mohan Minj admitted his involvement in the incident. He told that Suraj Puri Goswami and his brother Akash had together planned to steal the house of Gopal Rai Soni. Suraj had planned to get the keys of Gopal Rai Soni’s shop from Akash, so that gold, silver and money could be stolen from there.
