A decision to ban liquor can soon be taken in the religious cities of Madhya Pradesh. After receiving suggestions from sages, saints and people, the government can implement liquor ban in religious cities from the coming financial year.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said on Monday (January 13) that in a way the budget session has come to an end. In such a situation, our government is considering whether to amend our policy on our religious cities. Many sages and saints have given suggestions to move towards prohibition of liquor in religious cities.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has given a statement on the issue of banning liquor in religious cities in the state. CM Mohan Yadav has said that our government is considering to amend the policy in religious towns and move towards banning liquor from religious towns. CM Mohan Yadav said that many saints and people have given suggestions and our government is seriously considering this.

Process of name change continues

On the other hand, since the beginning of the new year, CM Mohan Yadav has been changing the names of villages and panchayats in the state. CM Mohan had changed the names of three panchayats in MP on January 5. At the same time, now the Chief Minister has announced to change the names of 11 villages in the state. CM Mohan Yadav, during a program in Kalapipal area of ​​Shajapur, changed the name of Mohammadpur Machhnai to Mohanpur and Dhabla Hussainpur to Dhabla Ram.

Mohan Yadav said, “Our government is seriously considering it. At all costs, we should keep liquor shops outside the limits of our religious towns. Get the excise shops closed at the border, so that we can do concrete work in the direction of all the complaints that come from people regarding the religious environment. We are serious and will take a decision in this regard very soon.”
