Raje Kange, wife of dreaded Naxalite Prabhakar, has been arrested by the police. Raje Kange is a DVCM rank Naxalite who had a reward of Rs 8 lakh. She was also in-charge of Raoghat Area Committee. Police have arrested Prabhakar’s wife from Kaudosalhebhat village.
According to the information received, Raje was hiding in Kange villager’s house. Naxal supporter Shyamnath Usendi, who had given shelter, has also been arrested by the police. Top Naxalite leader Prabhakar was arrested only last month. Now the police has also arrested his wife. Kanker police said that for some days, the police was getting information about the activities of Raoghat area committee in-charge Malti alias Raje alias Nirmala Kange, active under the North Bastar division of the banned and illegal CPI Maoist organization. On January 11, Malti and Naxal associate and shelter giver Shyamnath Usendi were arrested by the police from Koyalibera police station area of Kanker district. The arrested Naxalite Malti alias Raje is being interrogated.
