Collector Deepak Aggarwal has taken strict action while reviewing the half-yearly examination results of high schools and higher secondary schools of Gariaband district of Chhattisgarh. The examination results were reviewed in the review meeting held in the District Panchayat Auditorium.
Meanwhile, expressing his displeasure towards the poorly performing schools, the Collector directed to immediately remove the principal of TD Higher Secondary School, Fingeshwar and issue show cause notice to the principals of 36 schools. On the instructions of the Collector, show cause notice was issued to BEO and BRCC of Fingeshwar for negligence in monitoring. The Collector clarified that all principals and teachers will have to make serious efforts to ensure 100% results in the board exams. The objective of Gaurav Gariabandh campaign is to improve the quality of education and ensure success to the students of class 10th and 12th. Show cause notices have been issued to the principals of 36 schools which got D grade in the review meeting. These include other schools including Phingeshwar, Chhindaula, Nagabuda, Bakli, Koundkera, Seoni and Rajim. Instructions were given to give citation certificates to the principals of schools who got A grade in the half-yearly examination. These include Government Girls School Devbhog, Government High School Bajadi, Seges Fingeshwar and other schools. The Collector directed all the teachers to regularly guide the students and organize special classes for the weak students. He warned that strict action would be taken against teachers and institution heads with poor results. The Collector said that the board exams will start in the first week of March. To improve examination results, teachers have been instructed to prepare students on the basis of question bank.
