PM Janman Yojana changed the lives of Baiga families of Kabirdham

Under the good governance of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, the solar energy of CREDA department has changed the lives of members of three special backward tribe Baiga families of Pandariya development block of Kabirdham district of Chhattisgarh. Just a year ago, there was darkness in the houses of these families till Diwali of 2024. To overcome the problems of these Baiga families deprived of electricity facilities, under the good governance of the Chief Minister, under PM Janman Yojana, CREDA CEO IAS Rajesh Singh Rana provided lighting to the houses of Baiga families with solar energy, due to which their dark houses became light. There was light. A few days ago, CREDA CEO IAS Rajesh Singh Rana had visited Kawardha district, during which he met these Baiga tribes and inspected the solar home lights installed and also gave necessary instructions to the officials. Let us tell you that the CREDA department took immediate action and installed 300 watt solar home lighting systems in the houses of about 25 Baiga families. Even before Diwali, lights reached these houses for the first time, which brought light to the lives of these families and they also expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister.

Six members of these Baiga families will participate in the 75th Republic Day celebrations organized at Duty Path in the country’s capital Delhi on 26 January 2025. This occasion will be a moment of pride and honor not only for these families but for the entire Kabirdham district. On the special invitation of His Excellency President Draupati Murmu, three families of special backward tribe Baiga family residing in Kabirdham district have been invited. Among the specially invited Baiga families, Jagatin Bai Baiga of village Patpari and her husband Phool Singh Baiga, dependents of Gram Panchayat Kadavani, Titri Bai Baiga and husband Budh Singh Baiga of village Teliapani, and Bali Bai Baiga and husband Sonu Ram Baiga of village Teliapani, a total of six. Baiga is a member. Will have the honor of attending the Republic Day celebrations in Delhi on the special invitation of President Draupadi Murmu.

Opportunity to meet the President and have a special dinner:
Special backward tribe Baiga families of Kabirdham district will also have the honor of attending a special dinner organized with President Draupadi Murmu during his stay in Delhi. Apart from this, these families will be taken on tour to the Prime Minister’s residence, Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhavan and other historical places.

The Baiga families said emotionally that this is a dream come true:
There is an atmosphere of excitement and pride in these families with the news of going to Delhi. Expressing his happiness, Jagatin Bai Baiga said that we had never thought that we would get a chance to meet the President. Earlier there was darkness in our village, but now our houses are illuminated due to solar energy. This has been possible due to the Chief Minister and CREDA Department.
