The presence of tigers has spread panic in Chandanpura, Jagran Lake City and Motherbull Farm areas. In the last 24 hours, tigers have killed two cows. After this, the Forest Department has closed the road in Chandanpura area as a precautionary measure, so that the safety of the people can be ensured.
On Friday morning, an SUV driver got scared due to the sudden appearance of two tigers on the road near Jagran Lake City and the vehicle went out of control and collided with a tree. Eyewitness Rajesh Jain told that a big and a small tiger were roaming in the area.
Due to which there is an atmosphere of fear among the people. Ranger Shivpal Pipalde said that due to the movement of tigers the road has been closed and the search operation is going on. Local citizens say that the movement of tigers is being seen in Chandanpura and Motherbull Farm areas for the last four days.
There is movement of dumpers and other heavy vehicles in this area at night. Also, a large number of local citizens walk on the road in the morning and evening. The Forest Department has appealed to the people to remain alert and avoid going to these areas.
Seen more than 10 times in the last six months
Tiger friend Rashid Noor told that the tiger has been seen 10 to 12 times in the last 10 months. Last 15-20 days ago the tiger was seen walking behind a car. Whose video went viral on social media. Earlier also during the rainy season, the tiger was seen near Chandanpura 13 shutter. Rashid told that he has been watching the movement of tigers here since 2014.
There is always movement of five to six tigers in Chandpura area. In the last three months, about three to four cows have been hunted by the tiger. Tigers also hunt cows near Mother Bull Farm, but the forest department does not make this information public. There is always a foul smell of rotting cattle in that area.
