Once again the police got success in Sukma. Nine Maoists including two female Naxalites have surrendered here. Naxalites have surrendered after being influenced by Chhattisgarh Government’s Chhattisgarh Naxalism Eradication and Rehabilitation Policy and “Niyad Nella Naar” scheme.
Among the surrendered Naxalites, a reward of Rs 8 lakh each was declared on two Naxalites, Rs 5 lakh each on four Naxalites, Rs 3 lakh on one female Naxalite, Rs 2 lakh each on one male and female Naxalite, i.e. a total of Rs 43 lakh. District Police Force Konta, DRG, Naxal Cell Intelligence Branch team and 02, 223 Corps CRPF Intelligence Branch have played a special role in encouraging the Naxalites to surrender.
Influenced by the Chhattisgarh Government’s “Chhattisgarh Naxalism Eradication and Rehabilitation Policy” and the “Niyad Nella Naar” scheme run by the Sukma Police, the Naxalites have surrendered.
