Probationary officers of the 2023 batch of the Indian Forest Service paid a courtesy visit to Governor Ramen Deka at Raj Bhavan today. Shri Deka congratulated him and gave him good wishes and also gave him guidance for the future. Shri Deka said that one should perform his duties with honesty and discipline. He advised to pay special attention to environmental protection and said that protection and conservation of forests is very important for the development of the country, hence this work should be considered as our first duty. The Governor inspired and encouraged the probationary officers to innovate in their work.
On this occasion, Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests in-charge Naveed Shajauddin and Forest Service probationary officers Shweta Kamboj, Tanmay Kaushik, Gautam Padibhar and Sumedh Sanjay Surwade were present.
