JPC President PP Chaudhary said on One Country One Election, ‘Our effort is to build consensus’

BJP MP and Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) Chairman PP Choudhary reacted on One Nation One Election. He expressed confidence that a consensus will be reached among the members of Parliament who will be part of the JPC. The BJP leader said the JPC’s effort will be to examine the bills in an “impartial” manner.

He ensured that the parliamentary panel will listen to every stakeholder in the matter. BJP leader PP Chaudhary said, “Our effort will be to listen to people from all walks of life, be it political parties, civil society or the judiciary. We want to take everyone’s input. We will examine the bills introduced by the government in an impartial manner. Our effort will be to reach a consensus. I am confident that we will work for the interest of the country.” PP Chaudhary said that the concerned ministry will give information to the members on the first day of the meeting today. He said that everyone’s opinion will be taken as to how to move forward.
