The war between Russia and Ukraine has been going on for the last 1000 days. Meanwhile Ukraine attacked the Russian region of Kursk. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted while talking about this attack. He told that Russia lost 38,000 of its soldiers in the area. Along with this he emphasized on destroying the buffer zone and Russian military assets in the area. He gave this information on social media.

“Today marks five months since our action in the Kursk region,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said. We are maintaining the buffer zone on Russian territory. There their military forces are being destroyed. “The enemies lost about 38,000 soldiers during the Kursk campaign.” He further said, “Russia had deployed its strongest troops in Kursk, which also included North Korean troops. The important thing is that these people can no longer be redirected to other fronts.” Zelensky praised all his soldiers. He said, “I thank all our warriors. “They provided Ukraine with greater security and strength.” Let us tell you that Ukraine retaliated in Kursk on Sunday. With these attacks, Russia was warned that Moscow is getting what it deserves. Andrey Kovalenko, head of the Ukrainian Center for Countering Disinformation, said Ukrainian forces launched attacks in various areas of Kursk just days after infiltrating the region. “Kursk region, good news,” he said in a post shared on Telegram. “Russia is getting what it deserves.”

Ukrainian forces first entered Kursk in August. During this time he had captured most of the area. Russia enlisted the help of North Korean troops to expel Ukrainian forces from the area. On Sunday, the Russian Defense Ministry said Ukrainian forces had retaliated against their offensive and repulsed a Ukrainian attack near the village of Berdin.
