BJP has announced its district presidents in Chhattisgarh. Along with Bastar, the president of Dantewada, Sukma, Kondagaon, Narayanpur of the division has been announced. Sandhya Pawar has been elected District President from Narayanpur.
Dantewada BJP District President Santosh Gupta was made. Santosh is currently the District General Secretary and resident of Geedam. Earlier on Sunday, presidents of Bijapur and Kanker had been announced. Mahesh Jain has been made the president in Kanker and Ghasiram Nag has been made the president in Bijapur. Ved Prakash Pandey has been declared Bastar District BJP President. 49 year old Vedprakash is considered close to the state president. He was made the President of Bharatiya Yuva Morcha Bakavand Mandal in 2003. After this, there is Mandal President, District Minister and since 2019, District General Secretary.
This was announced at the party office in Bastar. The names were announced in the presence of Vikram Usendi, in-charge of BJP district organization elections. Before this, there was hustle and bustle in the BJP office since morning. The contenders for the post of president arrived. Divisional officials also arrived from rural areas. A woman has got the command of Narayanpur BJP District President. Sandhya Pawar of Chhote Dongar has been made the president. Earlier she was the District President of Mahila Morcha.
15 district presidents of BJP engaged in caste and political equation
- BJP’s organization elections are going on before the upcoming Panchayat-body elections. After the election of Mandal Presidents, BJP on Sunday appointed 15 District Presidents of the state.
- The list has been released keeping in mind the caste and political equations. State BJP has 36 organizational districts. There is a claim to complete elections in the remaining districts on January 6.
- Ramesh Thakur has been made the District President of Raipur city. Thakur is considered close to Raipur MP Brijmohan Agarwal and Raipur-South MLA Sunil Soni.
- District in-charge of organization elections Shiv Ratan Sharma has unanimously appointed Raipur City District President. Ramesh Thakur is the General Secretary of Raipur City District. District organization election in-charge and former MLA Shivratan Sharma handed over the certificate to him.
- Before the assembly elections, Thakur has been active in various campaigns of the party. Similarly, Shyam Narang from Raipur Rural has been made the District President. Shyam is a lawyer by profession.
Election of state BJP president will be held before January
State Election Officer of Organizational Elections, Khubchand Parakh has duly released the list of district presidents. Parakh said that there are 37 assembly constituencies in these 15 districts from where the election of 37 state representatives has also been duly completed. The names of 18 state representatives, who come from SC-ST and women’s category, have also been finalized, whose election process will be conducted from the state.
In this way, 55 state representatives have been elected. Parakh told that the election of remaining district presidents will be held on January 6. The election of BJP state president is to be held before January 10.
