A list of 35 to 40 names of BJP district presidents will be released on Tuesday. There was a discussion regarding this for two hours in the Chief Minister’s residence on Monday. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, BJP State President Vishnudutt Sharma and BJP State Organization General Secretary Hitanand discussed the names of district presidents. The list has been finalized and was sent to Delhi for approval. It is being told that the names included in the list have also been approved from Delhi. The list of names was to be released on Monday, but due to lack of consensus on some names, the list was stopped.
Even before the announcement, a series of congratulations started in Mandsaur.
- There is still no consensus on more than 15 names of district presidents. In such a situation, the first list of only 35 to 40 names will be released. The remaining names will be reconsidered and finalized.
- Amidst the tussle between party leaders over more than one name for the district president of other districts including Sagar, Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Satna, Rewa, Narsinghpur, the announcement of the district president in these districts can be made later.
- Here, even before the announcement of the District President, flexes congratulating Pandit Rajesh Dixit as Mandsaur District President have been prepared. Its photo went viral on social media on Monday.
President of 12 districts may get a chance again
Before the Lok Sabha elections, BJP had changed 12 district presidents of Madhya Pradesh. In this, new district presidents were made in Chhatarpur, Panna, Mauganj, Maihar, Balaghat, Chhindwara, Padhurna, Harda, Indore Rural, Burhanpur, Barwani and Ratlam. In such a situation, the district presidents in most of these districts can be given another chance.
Attempt to solve social and political equations
It is being told that BJP has tried to solve social and political equations division wise. Each division has three to eight districts. In this, apart from ST, SC, OBC and general category, there is an effort to give opportunity to women. However, where there is a woman MP and mayor, only a man will be made the district president.
