Due to the Sydney Test ending in three days, the Indian team is stuck in Australia. Actually, India’s two-month long Australia tour was to end on January 7 and the entire team was to board the flight back home on the 8th. Now the team is stuck in Australia as the match ended two days ago. BCCI is arranging return tickets for the players and support staff, as soon as the tickets are received, the players will be able to return home. Let us tell you, Team India has faced defeat by 1-3 in the 5-match Border Gavaskar Test series. Australia has been successful in winning the title after 10 years.

According to the report, Team India is looking for tickets to return home. Although India was supposed to fly out on January 8, due to the match ending early, some players may leave early and it depends on when the tickets are available. Some senior members have to fly on Monday only.

Along with the players and management of Team India, the media and fans will also be in a hurry to return to India. “The logistics manager is working on it for the team and the departures will start as soon as tickets are available,” said a source close to the development.
