Golden Globe Awards 2025: Big win for French film ‘Emilia Perez’

London
The ceremonies of the 82nd Golden Globes Awards, one of the world’s most prestigious cinema awards, concluded on Sunday evening (Monday morning in India). India’s hope in this awards show was linked to director Payal Kapadia, whose film ‘All We Imagine As Light’ got nomination in two categories. While the film got a nomination in the ‘Best Non-English Language Motion Picture’ category, Payal Kapadia got a nomination in the ‘Best Director’ category for it. But no award was received in both the categories.

Jacques Audiard’s French film ‘Emilia Perez’ appeared to be the jury’s favorite at the Golden Globes this time. This film won the award in the ‘Best Non-English Language Motion Picture’ category, in which India’s film was also included. Apart from this, this film also won awards in many categories. From the TV side, America-Japan co-production show ‘Shogun’ was a hit.
