A big news is coming out from Mohanpur in West Tripura. Where on Sunday, a bus filled with students who had come for picnic caught fire, due to which 13 school students got burnt. In the matter, Superintendent of Police (SP) Kiran Kumar said that nine of these students were sent to GBP Hospital, while the remaining four were sent home after treatment at the local health center.
He said that the fire was caused by the explosion of a generator kept in the bus. The matter is under investigation. In this matter, State Chief Minister Manik Saha expressed deep concern over this incident and wished for the speedy recovery of all the injured students. He wrote on social media platform Facebook that I am deeply concerned by this tragic incident in Mohanpur, where a picnic bus caught fire after a generator exploded. He said that I wish speedy recovery of the injured people. The Chief Minister also said that the administration is keeping a close watch on the situation and immediate medical facilities are being provided to the injured students. He has appealed to everyone to be alert and careful while enjoying the picnic.
