New Delhi
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday inaugurated working women’s hostel Sushma Bhawan in New Delhi. While addressing the programme, he fiercely targeted the Delhi government. Alleged that when Kejriwal got a chance to work on the infrastructure of Delhi, he started building his own building.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, “When some children came to meet me at my house, I asked them what Kejriwal ji did? So a child said that he built a glass palace worth Rs 45 crore for himself. When we came into politics, we used to say that we will not take a government car or a government bungalow. Today he built Sheesh Mahal for himself in 50 thousand yards with Rs 45 crore of Delhiites. Kejriwal will have to give account to the people of Delhi.”
He further said, “When Arvind Kejriwal got the opportunity to work on the infrastructure of Delhi, he started building his own building. Didn’t worry about Delhi’s infrastructure. He did liquor scam, corruption in the name of mohalla clinic and scam in the name of medicines. Not only this, scam was done in the name of CCTV, scam was done in bus purchase and the biggest scam was done for personal facilities, to build one’s own glass palace. The people of Delhi will have to answer to Arvind Kejriwal.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also remembered Sushma Swaraj. He said, “Bansuri Swaraj came to meet me and told me that a working women’s hostel is being built, which will be named Sushma Bhawan. Then I myself had said that I do not want to ask about the size of the hostel, but if the hostel is built in the name of Sushma ji, then I will definitely come here. I have asked for an invitation to come here, because it is a matter of pleasure for me to inaugurate this hostel.”
He further said, “About 80 sisters will work in this building, the facility for their safe living is being associated with the name of a leader who has been an inspiration for awakening and organizing the women power of India. Sushma Swaraj will always be remembered by all of us BJP workers as a great leader of the party. “In the history of parliamentary politics in India, Sushma Swaraj handled the responsibility of minister of important departments in both NDA-1 and NDA-2 governments very well.”
The Union Home Minister said, “The democratic history of this country will not remember Sushma Swaraj as the External Affairs Minister or the Health Minister, but will remember her as a fighting opposition leader. It was Sushma who exposed the Rs 12 lakh crore scam of the UPA-2 government in the Parliament House. When an example is given of how important the post of Leader of the Opposition is in a democracy, then Sushma ji will definitely be remembered.”
