Minister Sarang inspected the under construction CM Rise School in Karond

Cooperative Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang inspected the under construction Sardar Patel CM Rise School in Karond on Friday. During the inspection, he expressed his displeasure over the delay in the construction work and directed the officials to speed up the work and the shortcomings found in the construction should be removed immediately. Minister Shri Sarang told the officials that negligence of the construction agency and responsible officials will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken against it.

Officials could not answer the minister
Minister Shri Sarang took information from the officials regarding the design of the school and the space of the class-room. He said that adequate space should be ensured according to the number of children. He also inspected the corridor in the main building of the school. As the width of the corridor was less for the number of children, he directed that the assembly area near the corridor should be kept open instead of closed, so that the students could get adequate space.

Emphasis on fire safety and security
Minister Shri Sarang instructed to give top priority to fire safety in school construction. He said that the safety of children is our priority and fire safety arrangements should be ensured as per the prescribed standards. Minister Shri Sarang said that the construction work should be completed quickly while ensuring its quality.

Construction work will be done at a cost of Rs 30 crore
Sardar Patel CM Rise School is being constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 30 crore. This school will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, which will provide students an opportunity to receive education in an enriching and safe environment. Various facilities including 34 class-rooms, library, conference room, dining hall including kitchen store, 5 labs, staff room will be available to the students in the school campus. During the inspection, District Education Officer Mr. Narendra Kumar Ahirwar, Chief Executive Officer BDA Mr. Pradeep Jain, Superintending Engineer BDA Mr. Yatish Jain, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mrs. Tina Yadav and senior officials of the district administration were present.
