Chhattisgarh Deputy CM Arun Sao on Friday inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth more than Rs 36 crore in Mungeli. He inaugurated works worth more than Rs 5 crore 43 lakh in a program organized at Agar Sports Complex in Mungeli.
These construction works include beautification of Guru Ghasidas, Maharana Pratap and Mahavir Chowk at a cost of Rs 17 lakh 56 thousand, CC road and drain at 37 places in Ward No. 1 to Ward No. 22 at a cost of Rs 1 crore 79 lakh 34 thousand. Construction work, construction work of Pauni-Pasari complex at a cost of Rs 25 lakh six thousand, installation of tubular poles at eight places at a cost of Rs 1 crore 44 lakh 46 thousand. Works and purchase of various vehicles under the 15th Finance Commission at a cost of Rs 1 crore 76 lakh 79 thousand are included. The Deputy Chief Minister announced new development works worth more than Rs 25 crore for Mungeli city in the inauguration-bhoomi pujan program. Addressing the program he said that today is a glorious and historic moment. Works worth more than Rs 36 crore have been inaugurated and bhumi pujan has been done for the residents of Mungeli city. Sao said that development works are being done at a fast pace under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. The people of Mungeli do not need to ask. He knows the needs of Mungeli very well. Mungeli has a very old and glorious history. We will do everything possible to ensure that Mungeli progresses as per his pride.
Hi-tech bus stand and Nalanda complex will be built in Mungeli
The Deputy Chief Minister announced new works worth more than Rs 25 crore in the inauguration-bhoomi pujan program in Mungeli today. He announced Rs 6 crore 20 lakh for hi-tech bus stand in Mungeli and Rs 4 crore 41 lakh for Nalanda complex. SAV donated Rs 1 crore 10 lakh for the renovation of Agar Sports Ground, Rs 80 lakh for the construction of officer-employee residence and other necessary works, Rs 30 lakh for the construction of Bhakta Mata Karma Chowk and installation of the statue, Niranjan Prasad Kesharwani Bal Rs 30 lakh for Muktidham at Vatika Malai Ghat, Rs 25 lakh for community hall at Sahu Para, Maa Parameshwari Chowk, Parshuram Chowk, Guru Ghasidas Chowk. Like Rs 25 lakh for beautification of five squares, Rs 12 lakh for high mask light in Maa Parameshwari Chowk Dewangan Muktidham, Rs 10 lakh for construction of shed on the bank of Agar river in Hiralal ward and construction of a platform for cremation of the dead and Maharana Pratap Pendarakapa. Also announced to give seven lakh rupees for the construction of Pachari.
