Automatic weapons like AK 47 and SLR have been recovered from them. Dantewada DRG jawan Head Constable Sannu Karam was martyred in this encounter with Naxalites. The search operation of security forces is going on. 1 thousand DRG and STF personnel of Dantewada, Narayanpur, Kondagaon and Bastar districts had surrounded the core area of ​​Naxalites on Saturday. There was intermittent firing from both sides. The soldiers are still present at the spot.

4 Naxalites killed, one soldier martyred

Many weapons including AK-47 rifle recovered
According to officials, a head constable of the District Reserve Guard (DRG) was martyred in the encounter. The encounter began on Saturday evening in the South Abujhmad forest on the border of Narayanpur and Dantewada districts when a joint team of security personnel was out on an anti-Naxal operation. After the firing stopped late Saturday night, bodies of four Naxalites and automatic weapons including AK-47 rifles and self-loading rifles (SLRs) were recovered from the spot, he said.
