Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam today released the Agricultural Guide 2025 published by Indira Gandhi Agricultural University at his residence office in Naya Raipur here. The Agriculture Minister said that the Agricultural Guide includes the research and extension work being done by Indira Gandhi Agricultural University as well as information about the latest agricultural technology and various schemes run by the Central and State Government for farmers. This agricultural guide will prove to be very useful for the farmers. He expressed hope that the Agricultural University will continue to make similar efforts in the interest of the farmers of Chhattisgarh. Minister Shri Netam congratulated and congratulated the Vice Chancellor of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Dr. Girish Chandel and his colleagues for the publication of the Agricultural Guide.

Vice Chancellor of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Dr. Girish Chandel, while giving information to the Agriculture Minister about the Agricultural Guide 2025 published by the University, said that the Agricultural Guide published by Indira Gandhi Agricultural University contains general information about the state of Chhattisgarh, agricultural area, major agricultural crops, Information about their production technology, research and extension work plans, activities and achievements being carried out by the Agricultural University has been included. Advanced agricultural work series of various Kharif and Rabi crops including cereals, pulses, oilseeds, minor cereal crops, fodder crops, medicinal and aromatic crops and fruit, flower and vegetable crops are published in Darshika. Along with this, information about the last year’s activities and achievements of the Agricultural University, improved varieties of various crops developed by the University and farmer useful technology developed and disseminated by the University is also published. Major pests and major diseases of various crops and their management are also included. Along with this, information is given regarding the development and welfare schemes run by the Central and State Government for farmers, the facilities and grants provided under them. Information about agricultural universities, agriculture and related departments and other contact sources useful for farmers has also been published in Krishi Darshak.
