The first day of the new year has witnessed good governance initiatives in Madhya Pradesh. Dr. Mohan Yadav government of Madhya Pradesh has started a new beginning of e-governance. E-office system has been implemented in the state.
After this, e-office system was implemented in all the departments including Chief Minister’s Office, Chief Secretary’s Office. That means paper notesheet files will not be moved, instead online files will be moved. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav launched the e-office system from Samatva Bhawan, the Chief Minister’s residence.
Mohan government moving forward with digitalization
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the MP government wants to move forward through digitalization by focusing on many public welfare programs and welfare of the poor, women, farmers and youth. Chief Secretary Anurag Jain, including the Chief Minister’s Office, has also started working with the e-office system in the Chief Secretary’s office.
What is e-office system
E-Office is an online system. In this, everyone from officers to employees will sit at the computer and sort out their files. This will help you know which file is pending with whom. Old files can also be found in it. With this, government work can be completed faster. Its monitoring will also be easy at a higher level.
Will be implemented in the state in 3 phases
Let us tell you that the e-office system is being implemented in the entire state in 3 phases. Under the first phase, it has been fully implemented in the ministry from January 1. Now movement of all files in the ministry will be possible only in electronic mode (e-file). The entire operation will become paperless. Under the second phase, all the department heads’ offices and in the third phase all the district level offices will be connected to the e-office system. But the final time for this has not been decided. Earlier, work was being done in hybrid mode in the ministry. Some work was done through e-file and some through P-file (paper file). Now everything has been converted into e-file.
