Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) Chairman Anand Mahindra on Wednesday said the company has become the world’s 11th most valuable automobile maker, leaving behind several competitors and former technology peers. Addressing the employees of Mahindra Group on the occasion of New Year, he said that among the companies which have been a part of Nifty 50 since 2002, the price growth rate of M&M shares has been the highest so far and in the last year alone it has given a return of 77 percent to the investors. .
Anand Mahindra wrote, “We have been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the fourth consecutive year. “It is the highest ranking automotive OEM in the world index.” The best thing about other businesses is that Mahindra Sustain has achieved its targets beyond its plans. Its cumulative project pipeline stood at 3.3 GWp, which was 60 per cent more than its target capacity.
Chairman of Mahindra and Mahindra said that we are in leadership position in the electrification of Indian three-wheelers. Mahindra Finance’s loan book has increased to more than Rs 1 lakh crore. He further said that India is in a position to do more than defend itself.
According to Mahindra, India is no longer a 99-pound lightweight country on the beach. It can demonstrate military power. The country is politically stable, which is based on its strong democracy and this was fully demonstrated in the central elections, when the country of more than a billion people voted smoothly, peacefully and effectively. Anand Mahindra told employees, “We will be less affected by volatile global conditions than many other countries. In such a situation, our group should have no dearth of growth opportunities both domestically and internationally.”
