A special gift arrived today for Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and cabinet ministers from Madanar School under Narayanpur Assembly constituency. School children of Government Higher Primary School Madanar presented wooden name plates prepared with their own hands to the Chief Minister and all the ministers. Chief Minister Shri Sai was so happy after receiving the gift that he immediately got this name plate installed on the table of his chamber in Mantralaya and also asked all the ministers to get it installed in their chambers. These children met the Chief Minister today in his office room in the Ministry.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the dedication with which our children are working to take forward the wonderful art of Bastar is commendable. Children’s dedication towards education and learning new things will open the way for the progress of Bastar. He introduced all the children and praised their art. Chief Minister Shri Sai appreciated the efforts of the children to learn this art and when he came to know that the children have learned this after getting training under the new education policy, his happiness knew no bounds. He said that the aim of the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi was that through the new National Education Policy, children not only study but also become proficient in the work of their interest. The larger objective of making education interesting, preserving art and culture as well as employment is being realized through the new education policy.
During this, the children presented the Preamble of the Constitution carved on wood to the Chief Minister and presented a portrait to the Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Sao and Shri Vijay Sharma. Teacher Shivcharan Sahu, who came with the school children, told the Chief Minister that the name plate was prepared by Kashik, a class 12 student, with his own hands. The portrait has been prepared by Khilendra Baghel and the Preamble of the Constitution has been prepared by student Sagar. He told that all the children have received this training under pre-vocational education in the new National Education Policy and the children are learning it with interest. Mr. Sahu said that he is earning around Rs 3 lakh annually through the sale of these artefacts. These artworks prepared by children are now also available in big online markets like Amazon and Flipkart.
On this occasion, Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, Food Minister Dayal Das Baghel, Forest Kedar Kashyap, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Revenue Minister Tankram Verma, Women and Child Development Minister Lakshmi Rajwade, Industries Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan were present.
