According to Moolchand Junwal, Assistant Administrator of Mahakaleshwar Temple Committee, a receipt of Rs 250 is being deducted by the Temple Committee for quick darshan arrangements. Apart from this, a receipt of Rs 250 per devotee is being made for availing the facility of early darshan in protocol darshan. Similarly, the rules of the temple are being strictly followed. Due to this, the income of the temple committee has also increased.
Temple committee defrauded by collecting money from devotees
According to Ujjain Police Superintendent Pradeep Sharma, Kilo was active in the Mahakaleshwar temple, which used to extort illegal money from the devotees and provide them such facilities for which different types of fees have been fixed by the temple committee. So far, 10 people have been arrested in this case, out of which eight are employees of Mahakaleshwar Temple Committee. Of these, two employees Rakesh and Vinod have already been sent to jail, while other employees including Rajendra Singh, Abhishek Bhargava, Rajkumar have also been caught in this case.

Keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees coming to the temple on New Year, the administrator of the temple committee held a meeting of friendly Jain officials. He told that more than 10 lakh devotees are likely to reach the temple on the occasion of New Year.
