The new pharmaceutical hub of Central India is going to be built in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has given approval for this. To increase new research, development and international investment through the pharmaceutical park, 141.84 acres of land has been allotted by Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Development Authority (NRDA) to Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation in Sector 22 Village Tuta for the establishment of a pharmaceutical park. .

CM said that along with expanding health facilities, the state government is also promoting the pharmaceutical sector. Continuous initiatives are being taken to create an effective eco system in the medical field in the state. If Chhattisgarh has to be made a developed state by the year 2047, then it is necessary to strengthen the health facilities and make them people-oriented. Establishment of Pharmaceutical Park is a link to this. He said that in the new industrial policy also a provision has been made to provide many facilities and concessions to the industries in the pharmaceutical sector. The Chief Minister said that this project will increase domestic and international investment, promote healthy competition in the pharmaceutical sector, provide employment to local youth and also give a boost to the economy of Chhattisgarh. With the establishment of the Pharmaceutical Park, we will be able to easily meet the increasing demand for healthcare products at domestic and global level. He said that through the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Ayushman Health Scheme of Chhattisgarh, 77 lakh 20 thousand families of the state are getting free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh, which is targeted to be increased to Rs 10 lakh in the coming time. Under the Chief Minister Special Health Assistance Scheme, financial assistance up to Rs 25 lakh is being provided for treatment in special situations. Finance Minister OP Dhari said that all necessary facilities will be provided to the pharmaceutical units specializing in AYUSH products in the Pharmaceutical Park. The park will be equipped with modern infrastructure including flatted factory complexes and a Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP). Essential services like research and development centers and testing laboratories will also be included in it. Let us tell you that for large enterprises in the pharmaceutical sector in the state, there is a provision to provide industrial investment incentive up to 100 percent of the amount to be invested on the items of permanent capital investment in the project. There is a provision to reimburse up to 100 percent of the maximum fixed capital investment or grant fixed capital investment grant to pharmaceutical units, up to 100 percent of the net SGST paid for 12 years from the date of commencement of commercial production. The maximum amount of subsidy on capital investment more than Rs 50 crore but less than Rs 200 crore is Rs 60 crore, capital investment more than Rs 200 crore but less than Rs 500 crore is Rs 150 crore and capital investment more than Rs 500 crore is maximum Rs 300 crore. Chhattisgarh government has also made a provision of giving a grant of Rs.
