First, the buyer is promised populist promises and various facilities including artificial roads, drains, gardens, but once the land is sold, the land left for these basic facilities is also sold.
On receiving complaints, a ban is imposed on a piece of land, but the land mafia continues to sell the rest of the land indiscriminately. If sources are to be believed, this corruption cannot happen without the connivance of officials.
However, regarding the entire matter, SDM Dongargarh Manoj Markam told Lalluram.com that action has been taken on all the complaints related to illegal plotting and restrictions have also been imposed. However, according to experts, this restriction has been imposed only on one piece of land, while other pieces of land are being sold indiscriminately. He says that if an impartial investigation is conducted in Dongargarh area, many influential people and administrative officers and employees will also be proven guilty in the case of illegal plotting and selling of government land, but due to administrative apathy, no action has been taken against them till now. Whereas, the buyers are feeling cheated after purchasing their lands.
