Action taken against 03 drivers driving under the influence of alcohol
Yesterday, under the campaign, the drivers of truck number MP 18H6015 and highway number MP18 Z0846 were found driving under the influence of alcohol by the traffic police, against whom a case was prepared and the vehicles were confiscated.
Kotma police found a motorcyclist driving under the influence of alcohol, a case was registered against him and the vehicle was confiscated.
Traffic cones installed on both sides of the divider located on the highway road near Funga.
Accidents occur due to collision with the divider situated near village Funga on the highway at night due to invisibility, to curb this, traffic cones have been placed on both sides of the divider by the traffic police, so that vehicles do not collide with the divider at night.
Blind turns marked for installation of traffic mirrors
Today, under the campaign, traffic in-charge Jyoti Dubey and traffic staff visited Amarkantak Road, Jaithari Road and Chachai Road and identified 15 such blind turns where incidents of collision occur due to the vehicles not being able to see each other due to the turn. Action was taken to install mirrors at these places during the campaign itself.
