The liquor scam in Chhattisgarh has been in the headlines in the politics of the state for a long time. In this case also on Saturday, ED raided and took action against former minister Kawasi Lakhma and many others. It is reported from sources that ED has claimed in its ECIR that former minister Kawasi Lakhma was also getting Rs 50 lakh every month as commission in the scam.
However, Kawasi Lakhma has denied receiving commission every month. Names of other leaders and officers have also surfaced in this scam. Let us tell you that till now ED has registered FIR against more than 65 people in this case. Whereas Kawasi Lakhma himself has now declared himself illiterate.
