A fire broke out late night in Shri Ram Temple located in Bhamgarh in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh. After the fire broke out in the temple, the villagers first tried to extinguish the fire. But, when the fire was not controlled, the help of fire brigade was taken. According to the information, there is about 500 years old Shri Ram temple in Bhamgarh. A sudden fire broke out in this temple late on Friday night, within a short time the fire took a huge form. The villagers tried to extinguish the fire for a long time, but their efforts were not successful. As a result, the fire brigade had to be called and the fire could be controlled by Saturday morning.

It is reported that the fire broke out rapidly due to the old temple being a wooden shed and a very old wall. The fire was so severe that the surrounding houses also had to be evacuated. How the fire started has not been revealed. In this fire, the material kept in the temple was burnt to ashes.

According to the local people, a large number of people had gone to the temple till evening to have darshan. At around 2.30 in the night, the villagers saw smoke rising from the temple premises and then within a short time, strong flames started appearing. To extinguish the fire, the villagers poured water from all sides but without success. Later, the fire could be extinguished with the help of the fire brigade.

According to the police, it is not clear how the fire broke out in the temple. There has been no loss of life in this fire, a large number of items kept in the temple have definitely been burnt. Police is gathering information about whether anyone was in the temple at the time of the fire.
