Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla has said that front area development work should be done as per the action plan in Basaman Mama Gauvansh Vanya Vihar. By painting and maintaining the already constructed cow shed, chaff shed and all other buildings, the remaining under construction works should be compulsorily completed in the next 10 days. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla reviewed the development works of Gauvansh Vanya Vihar at Basaman Mama Gauvansh Vanya Vihar in Rewa.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that Basaman Mama Gauvansh Vanya Vihar has its own identity in the state. During the Maha Kumbh being organized in Prayagraj, the country’s great sages Swami Avadheshanand Giriji, Swami Ramdev and Pujya Morari Bapu will also come to Basaman Mama Gauvansh Wildlife Sanctuary by helicopter and will tour the entire forest sanctuary. He instructed to complete all the work in the stipulated time. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla gave instructions to make contracts with the concerned institutions for selling the material made from cow dung and cow urine in Gauvansh Vanya Vihar.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that in order to make Basaman Mama Gauvansh Vanya Vihar self-reliant by acquiring financial resources, ensure the purchase of their products. He talked about putting the responsibility of producing and selling fodder in the grazing land allotted for Gauvansh Vanya Vihar through FPO so that income can also be generated from it. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla directed to energize Gauvansh Vanya Vihar by installing solar panels and to set up an execution unit for dead animals. He also reviewed the ongoing construction work at Hinauti Gaudham.

Treatment of eye diseases will be done with modern machines in Rewa District Hospital.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that now eye patients will be treated with state-of-the-art machines in the well-equipped operation theater of District Hospital Rewa and complex eye surgeries will also be performed. With the availability of this facility, eye patients will no longer have to go elsewhere. He visited Kushabhau Thakre District Hospital and inspected the facilities of the operation theatre. It is noteworthy that the operation theater of the eye department in the district hospital has been made fully equipped with modern machines at a cost of Rs 76 lakh and modern machines have been installed. The Deputy Chief Minister inspected the OPD and the hospital extension building under construction in the hospital premises and gave instructions to the construction agency to complete the work soon. Chairman Municipal Corporation Shri Vyankatesh Pandey, CMHO Dr. Sanjeev Shukla, Civil Surgeon Dr. ML Gupta were present.
