Embraer is competing with Boeing and Airbus

London
An Azerbaijan Airlines plane met with an accident in Kazakhstan. 38 passengers died in this, while 29 people were injured. This plane was going from Baku to Grozny, Russia. There were a total of 62 passengers and five crew members on board the aircraft. Due to the collision of the plane with a flock of birds, the pilot had to take the decision of emergency landing. During this time the plane caught fire and broke into two pieces. 29 people including two children were safely evacuated from the plane.

The Azerbaijan Airlines plane that crashed in Kazakhstan belonged to Embraer company. This was the company’s ERJ-190 aircraft which was 11 years old. Whenever aircraft manufacturing companies are discussed, the names of Boeing and Airbus come to everyone’s mind. Boeing is an American company, while Airbus is European. But in recent years, a Brazilian company has been taking on Boeing and Airbus. The name of this company is Embraer. There have been a number of problems with Boeing’s planes in recent years. Due to this, Embraer has got an opportunity to expand its market.

It is being told that soon it will become the second largest aircraft maker company in the world by surpassing Boeing. The reason for this is that many big American airline companies are now buying Embraer aircraft. Not only this, many airlines around the world including Singapore Airlines are also betting on Embraer’s aircraft. Embraer had joined hands with Mahindra in February this year to supply medium transport aircraft to the Indian Air Force. Currently, Indian airline companies, chartered companies and defense forces have 44 Embraer aircraft.
The company is in talks with Modi government and big companies to set up manufacturing plants in India. The reason for this is that the demand for aircraft in the country is expected to increase significantly in the next few years.
