A heartbreaking incident has come to light from Florida, America. A pizza delivery girl here has been arrested for trying to murder a pregnant woman. The woman reportedly refused to give him a $2 tip, which enraged him. The suspect has been identified as 22-year-old Brianna Alvelo. He stabbed the woman more than a dozen times with a knife. However, the woman survived the incident.
This incident happened in a motel in Florida. The woman was celebrating her birthday with her boyfriend and 5-year-old daughter and ordered pizza. Woman gives delivery worker a small tip after ordering $33 pizza This didn’t sit well with Alvelo, according to the Osceola County Sheriff. At 10 pm on Sunday she returned to the motel with a masked accomplice armed with a knife. Both of them attacked the woman. Alvelo allegedly stabbed the victim 14 times before fleeing the scene, according to the New York Post.
During the attack, the victim tried to save her daughter but the attackers also attacked her on the back. She tried to call someone for help but Alvelo broke her phone. After the attack, the victim was taken to a local hospital where her condition is stable. On the basis of CCTV footage, the police soon found the accused and arrested him. Cases have been registered against him on charges of attempt to murder, house intrusion, assault and kidnapping. However his partner is still absconding. Alvelo has been denied bail and is currently being held in the Osceola County Jail.
The owner of the pizza chain has expressed grief over this matter and apologized. The company has assured people that they are fully cooperating with the authorities while the investigation continues. “The safety and well-being of customers and team members has always been our priority,” the company said in a statement.
