After Gujarat, now the tigers of Madhya Pradesh will roar in Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Odisha also. The state government will give 15 tigers to these three states. Of these, Chhattisgarh will be given eight tigers (two tigers, six tigresses), Rajasthan will be given four tigresses and Odisha will be given three (one tiger, two tigresses). A consensus has been reached regarding this.
Madhya Pradesh Forest Department Headquarters has told PCCF Subharanjan Sen of Wildlife Branch that these tigers will be sent from Bandhavgarh, Pench and Kanha Tiger Reserve. For this, a condition has also been kept that the process of sending the tiger and tigress should be done under the supervision of a team of veterinarians.
There are 785 tigers in MP
Special care should be taken to ensure that there is no threat to the lives of tigers. The entire cost of sending the tigers will have to be borne by the concerned state and due permission will have to be taken from the Government of India. It is noteworthy that there are 785 tigers in the Tiger State Madhya Pradesh.
Let us tell you that all the three states to which the tigers will be sent are BJP ruled and these three states were demanding tigers from Madhya Pradesh for a long time. Since Madhya Pradesh has the highest number of tigers in the country and is a Tiger State, approval has been given to send them to other states to maintain the survival of their species.
