The last cabinet meeting of Mohan government for the year 2024 was held on Thursday. In the meeting, Mohan Cabinet has decided that 11 KV feeders will be solarized to reduce the electricity demand in the state.
The government has also decided that 100 percent area in MP will be made irrigated. Officials have been instructed to make a plan for this.
While giving information about the decisions of the Cabinet, Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said that in view of the demand of farmers, 11 KV feeders will be solarized. These have to be connected to the solar plant. Private sector can also invest. An assistance of Rs 1 crore per MW will be provided by the Government of India.
This work will cost Rs 4 crore per MW. Hundred percent loan is available under the scheme. After this, farmers will be provided adequate electricity even during the day. Also, the state can get the benefit of carbon credit. Working on this also.
Plan will be made to create 100% irrigation area in MP
In view of the increase in the irrigation area of the state due to Ken Betwa and Parvati Kalisindh Chambal River Project, Mohan Cabinet has decided that MP will be made 100 percent irrigated area. Ken Betwa and Parvati Chambal Kalisindh project will provide water for irrigation and drinking. Irrigation area of MP will increase. In these projects, 90 percent of the funds will be given by the Central Government and 10 percent by the State Government.
River projects got approval
Minister Vijayvargiya said that 13 districts will benefit from the Parvati Kalisindh Chambal river linking project. New irrigation capacity will increase in 6.13 lakh hectares. The proposal has come in the cabinet. It was told that there are 19 projects related to Ken-Betwa and Parvati Kalisindh, out of which 16 have been approved by the Cabinet today. Two have already been approved. A project is underway which will be approved soon.

29 km long ghat on the banks of Shipra river in Ujjain
Giving information about the decisions of the cabinet, Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said that in view of the preparations for Simhastha in Ujjain, the government has decided that a 29 km ghat will be built on the banks of Shipra river.
Since two crore people will come in a day during Simhastha. Therefore, keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees, a 29 km ghat will be built. Which will start from Shani Temple Ujjain. Its cost will be Rs 771 crore. It will be built on the right side of Shipra River from Shani Mandir to Nagda Bypass.
Dharti Aaba scheme approved in cabinet
Vijayvargiya said that through the integrated scheme for tribal areas, work has to be done to ensure registration of Panchayat building, Anganwadi school building and 100 percent benefit under Dharti Aaba Tribal Village Utkarsh Yojana. Under the Central Government scheme, tribals of 52 districts in the state will get the benefit. The number of tribals in these villages is more than 50 percent.
Decisions on these were also taken in the cabinet
– Doctors from Polytechnic, Unani College get internship. It is linked to inflation index to provide benefits. Internship will increase as inflation increases.
– Birth and death certificates should be received soon, this arrangement will be made online. People will be able to get the certificate by getting themselves certified. There will be no need to wander for this. The person concerned will be punished for wrong certification. – Under the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Atal Gramin Seva Sadan will be built in all the Panchayats. In which all the problems of the villages can be solved.
– On completion of one year of Mohan government, public welfare camps have been organized in 70 percent of the districts of the state. During this period, maximum of 94 thousand forms for schemes were received in Ujjain.
