Investigation begins against Sheikh Hasina in alleged scam of five billion dollar nuclear power plant in Bangladesh

Dhaka
An investigation has been started against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her relatives in the alleged scam of a five billion dollar nuclear power plant in Bangladesh. This scam is that Rooppur Power Plant, located some distance away from Dhaka, is being built by the Russian government agency Rosatom with which some Indian companies are also associated.

Know what is the matter
This is Bangladesh’s first nuclear power plant which has been designed by Russia in Rooppur, located 160 km west of Dhaka. Rosatom has denied the allegations made regarding the Rooppur NPP project. The Russian government corporation says it is committed to transparent policies. She will go to court for her interests and reputation.

These allegations have been leveled against Sheikh Hasina
At the same time, 77-year-old ousted PM Sheikh Hasina is accused of transferring the entire amount of the five billion dollar Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant to her Malaysian bank account. Apart from Sheikh Hasina, her son Sajeeb Wajeb Joy (lives in America), her niece and British Treasury Minister Tulip Sadiq are also accused in this case. According to a report, this development came to light when the Bangladesh High Court, in a decision two days ago, asked whether the Anti-Corruption Commission (SCC) had yet to transfer the alleged five billion dollars of Rooppur Power Nuclear Project to Sheikh Hasina’s Malaysian account. Why has no action been taken on transfer?

Shouldn’t this manipulation of Haseena, Joy and Tulip be declared illegal? According to ACC documents, corruption in Rooppur Power Plant was exposed by National Democratic Movement (NDM) President Babi Hajjaj.

Sheikh Hasina faces many other allegations
It is noteworthy that Hasina has been taking refuge in India since August 5 after her ouster. After 16 years of rule and being elected to power for the third consecutive time, Sheikh Hasina and her allies have also been accused of murders and protests.

Demand for Hasina’s transplant
Let us tell you that recently Bangladesh had written a letter to India for the transplant of Sheikh Hasina. India has accepted the receipt of this note. Regarding this note, India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal recently said, “We have received a note verbale from the Bangladesh High Commission which is related to extradition. We have no further information to share on this matter.”
