Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai released the poster of the 24th National Vanvasi Sports Competition to be organized by All India Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram at Chief Minister’s residence Raipur. He extended his best wishes to the organizers for this important event and described it as an important step towards the upliftment of forest dweller society and development of sports culture. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that this competition will provide a big opportunity to enhance the talent of tribal players. This will also increase the feeling of unity among the players coming from different states. He said that this competition is being organized with a noble purpose and it will encourage the talent of the forest youth.
National Forest Resident Sports Competition is being organized in the capital Raipur from 27 to 31 December 2024. The competition will be inaugurated on December 28 at the Science College grounds, in which about 800 players from various provinces across the country including Andaman, Manipur, Punjab and the neighboring country Nepal are reaching the capital to participate in the competition. Players will showcase their talent in football and archery in the competition.
On this occasion, Forest Minister and Chairman of the welcome committee of the competition Kedar Kashyap, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, State President Umesh Kachhap, Secretary Dr. Anurag Jain, Ramnath Kashyap and other members were present.
