The Meteorological Department has predicted that the system will be strongest on December 27. On this day, there is hail and rain alert in 21 districts including Bhopal and Gwalior. At the same time, there will be light rain and thundershowers in other districts.
Senior scientist Dr. Divya E. Surendran said, due to the effect of Western Disturbance, the weather patterns will change in the state. There will be activity of a low pressure area over Rajasthan also. Due to which hail can fall along with rain.

24 December: Light rain may occur at isolated places in Gwalior, Morena, Bhind, Datia, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Sagar, Khargone, Vidisha, Guna and Ashoknagar. Of these, there will be thunderstorms in Ashoknagar, Niwari and Chhatarpur.
25 December: There will be fog in Gwalior, Bhind, Morena, Sheopur, Datia, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Sagar, Ashoknagar and Guna.
26 December: There will be light rain in Indore, Ujjain, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Agar-Malwa, Ratlam, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Dhar, Barwani, Khargone, Dewas, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Pandhurna, Chhindwara, Narsinghpur, Sagar and Guna. Thunderstorm conditions will also persist in most of these districts.
27 December: Thunderstorm, rain and lightning in Bhopal, Gwalior, Sheopur, Morena, Bhind, Alirajpur, Barwani, Khargone, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Harda, Dewas, Sehore, Shajapur, Betul, Narmadapuram, Raisen, Sagar, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Pandhurna. In the rest of the districts the mercury was recorded only above 10 degrees.
Talking about big cities, the maximum temperature was 14.6 degrees in Indore, 13.5 degrees in Ujjain, 10.4 degrees in Jabalpur, 10.2 degrees in Bhopal and 9.3 degrees in Gwalior.
