Naxalites once again tried unsuccessfully to raise their heads in Raigudem, a heavily Naxal affected area of Sukma district in Chhattisgarh. Here late night Naxalites attacked the soldiers’ camp. Two soldiers have been injured, whose condition is out of danger.
Raigudem was once occupied by Naxalites. There used to be a battalion of Naxalites here, but in recent months the security forces have taken continuous action.
After opening the camp in Raygudem, the security forces have now opened the camp on the other side of the Gomaguda river also. Frustrated with this, the Naxalites attacked the camp late at night.
Naxalites fired barrel grenade launcher
According to the information, a new camp has been established in Gomguda located in Chintalnar police station area. Where Naxalites suddenly attacked last night. The Naxalites fired BGL (Barrel Grenade Launcher), due to which two Cobra 206 soldiers suffered minor injuries.
These two soldiers were deployed in the outer cordon outside the camp. On the other hand, the soldiers also retaliated befittingly, after which the Naxalites fled from there. Both the soldiers were given first aid and referred for better treatment.
