There has been a big change in the board exam in MP. Under this, candidates will pass in only 5 papers. Even if they fail in any one of the six question papers of high school i.e. 10th class, they will be considered passed. Actually, MP Board has again implemented the Best of Five scheme for high school students. This scheme has been re-implemented with the aim of reducing the mental stress of the board examinees and providing relief in weak subjects. Best of five scheme has been implemented once again in MP Board examination. Students are going to benefit directly from this scheme.
Actually, after the implementation of the Best of Five scheme, the candidates who pass five out of the six question papers of 10th board will be considered passed. In April this year, the School Education Department had issued a notification canceling it. However, it has been implemented once again.
Know about Best of Five Scheme
Please note that under the Best of Five scheme, students will have better chances of better performance and success in the 10th board exam. With this objective in mind this scheme was implemented in the state. Under the scheme, if a candidate passes any five out of the six compulsory papers, he will be considered passed. This rule has been made to reduce the examination stress on the students and keeping in mind their mental health.
Know how this scheme will work
There are 6 compulsory subjects examination under MP Board for class 10th.
Under the scheme, students have to score minimum passing marks in any of these five subjects.
If a student is weak in any one subject then this scheme will prove to be very beneficial for him.
If a student is weak in one subject, he can pass by scoring good marks in the other five subjects.
After the implementation of the scheme, the study pressure on students reduces.
After the implementation of the scheme, students get a chance to perform better according to their strengths.
The first plan was canceled
It is noteworthy that this scheme was canceled in the month of April this year. The objective behind the cancellation of this scheme was so that students can pay equal attention to all the subjects and do well. However, later it has been re-implemented in view of public interest and demand of students.
Which students will benefit?
It is noteworthy that this scheme is going to prove especially beneficial for those students who are weak in any one subject. At the same time, they perform well in other subjects. It is believed that this scheme increases self-confidence among the students. Apart from this, it also reduces their mental stress, so that they can perform better in the examination.
Why was it canceled
The best-of-five scheme was canceled in April 2024. It was then said that this was done to motivate the board examinees to work equally hard and pay attention to all the subjects.
