Shridham Express nine, Mangala Lakshadweep Express reached Bhopal eight hours late
Passengers had to wait for hours at Bhopal and Rani Kamlapati railway stations late on Sunday night and Monday morning. The main reason for this is the ongoing construction work of the third line in Jhansi division of North Central Railway.
Cut and connection work is going on on the up line between Sandalpur-Antari stations, due to which trains passing through many stations of the division including Bhopal were being run on the diverted route till December 22. Along with this, fog is also affecting the timing of train movement.
Due to fog, the speed of many trains has slowed down, due to which these trains are reaching their destinations much later than their scheduled time. Some trains reached Bhopal with a delay of one and a half hours to nine hours. In such a situation, passengers have to wait for hours at the stations.
