On the second day of National Child Color on 21st December, children from all over the country gave spectacular dance performances based on the folk culture of 22 states at the Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, Shyamala Hills. A glimpse of ‘Ek Bharat – Shrestha Bharat’ was seen in these presentations. 10 thousand children from different states are participating in various creative activities in Bal Rang.

Folk dance is a better medium for children to connect with each other
On the second day of hair color, Secretary School Education Dr. Sanjay Goyal reached among the children. He said that National Balrang Program is an important program of Madhya Pradesh. He said that in the National Education Policy, it has been recommended to actively involve children in various activities along with studies. Children involved in hair coloring will showcase their talent and become a source of inspiration for other children. He told that the National Human Museum has international recognition. Children should also be taken on a tour of the museum. Secretary School Education Dr. Goyal also released the children’s magazine published on this occasion.

folk dance performances
In the beginning of the program, children of Punjab presented a dance based on folk culture. This presentation showcased the heritage of Punjab. Children of Madhya Pradesh presented Languria folk dance of Mahakaushal region. In this, how does worship of God happen with faith? It was presented in an attractive manner. In the program, Director of Manav Museum, Prof. Amitabh Pandey and departmental officers were also present.

Developed India Exhibition
In the exhibition organized in Bal Rang, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, traditional costumes of the state and the imagination of Rajasthan developed in the year 2047 were shown through models in the stall of Rajasthan. The stall of the state of Goa showcased its culture, festivals, fishing business and the continuous development in the field of tourism. In these stalls, children from schools of Bhopal have prepared models with hard work. In Bal Rang, children were made aware of the progress in the field of science in the country and the world through the exhibition. In the beginning of the program, children also did a march past carrying the plaques of their states. On the last day of hair coloring, Sunday 22nd December, activities will start from 10 am and prizes will be distributed to the children. Children’s entry into the venue has been kept free. Children will have to come with their school uniform.
