Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the society of Chhattisgarh is an egalitarian society. The shadow of the thoughts of Baba Guru Ghasidas ji is clearly visible in the building of this society. He said the same thing with his message of Mankhe-Mankhe Ek Samaan. When we start seeing each other from the perspective of equality, the animosity will automatically end. His message binds not only the society but also the country and the world in unity. At a time when disruptive elements are conspiring to break the unity of the country, the messages of Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji are showing us the way like a lighthouse.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that our Chhattisgarh is a rice bowl. To ensure that the farmer brothers with whom the paddy bowl is identified remain happy and prosperous, we are purchasing paddy from the farmer brothers at Rs 3100 per quintal and 21 quintals per acre. Last time we purchased 145 lakh metric tons of paddy, this time it is expected that this figure of paddy purchase will reach 160 lakh metric tons. Baba Ji has also given the message of equality between men and women. This equality will come when our mothers and sisters are completely empowered economically, for this only Modi ji gave a guarantee of one thousand rupees every month to our mothers and sisters in the form of Mahtari Vandan Yojana. From the very first day of taking oath, we started working for the implementation of Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Within three months, we started giving an amount of one thousand rupees every month in the accounts of 70 lakh mothers and sisters. Till now we have given ten installments of the scheme.
He said that we also worked to ensure that our youth get proper employment opportunities and there is complete transparency in examinations. The investigation of PSC exam was handed over to CBI. This year the PSC exam was conducted with complete transparency. I met the PSC toppers, they told me that due to rampant corruption in the previous government, many youth had lost faith in PSC, this time when the examination was conducted in a clean manner, the trust was restored again. So that the youth belonging to Scheduled Castes and Tribes can become Collectors and SPs, we have increased 135 seats for the youth in Tribal Youth Hostel in Delhi. We are also going to start 13 libraries for the youth on the lines of Nalanda in urban bodies.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the entire focus of our government is on the development of Scheduled Castes and Tribes. For this, we have also made a significant increase in the budget provision. We have prepared a new industrial policy. In this industrial policy, special provisions have been made for our Scheduled Caste and Tribe entrepreneurs. There are very good opportunities for those who want to grow in the field of entrepreneurship. I am happy that we are shaping Chhattisgarh as per Baba Guru Ghasidas ji’s message of a peaceful and egalitarian society.
