Kuthla police has disclosed the case of murder of a dismissed policeman in village Jatwara under Kuthla police station area on Thursday-Friday night. The dismissed policeman was murdered by a young man due to a personal dispute. The police have caught the stick used in the murder and the accused.
Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Katni Abhijeet Kumar Ranjan and guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Dr. Santosh Dehariya, City Superintendent of Police Katni Khyati Mishra, Kuthla Police has succeeded in uncovering the blind murder case of a dismissed constable. Kuthla police has revealed the blind murder case within a day and arrested the accused.
This was the incident
On December 20, 2024, after receiving information that a dead body of a person was found in village Jatwara, Kuthla police reached the spot. There was a sensation in the area when the deceased Kamlesh Sharma was beaten to death by some unknown person and caused serious injuries. After which Kuthla police station in-charge Inspector Abhishek Choubey along with his team interrogated the suspects. During interrogation, suspect Bittu alias Bablu told that on 19 December 24 at 8 pm, accused Bittu alias Bablu Bhumiya had a fight with Lala alias Kamlesh Sharma. Regarding this matter, when the deceased was sitting on the platform of Shiva temple at around 11 o’clock in the night, the accused went to the platform with a stick and killed him by continuously hitting him with the stick. He hid the blood stained stick and the clothes worn at the time of the incident in his house, which have been confiscated by the police and the accused has been arrested.
The incident was challenging
It is noteworthy here that this blind murder case was a challenge for the police as the incident took place in village Jatwara in the middle of a settlement. The police solved it very intelligently. The accused was a tiller by profession.
